Environmental Policy

At Flostream we take the responsibility of minimising our impact on the environment very seriously. Committed to leading the industry in reducing the impact of courier related as well as general business activities common to most businesses on the environment, we have adopted policies that make a real difference.

• Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
• Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement.
• Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.
• Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution. We only use biodegradable poly.
• Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company.

Some practical examples include energy saving by switching off unused machinery, lighting, and heating in vacant sections / offices of our depots. Recycling of waste paper, card and cartridges. Where possible we offer clients, electronic invoicing and communications, reducing tons of paper bills and CO2 that would be generated in dispatching them.

We believe that by taking positive action today, we will motivate others to do the same tomorrow.
