Having worked with a growing publishing client for many years who now publishes 45 book titles per annum we were asked to see where savings could be made on their distribution budget. We looked at the data and recipients for each title and found many people purchasing and subscribing to several publications produced within a 3 month period. We discussed the idea of consolidation and instead of completing 45 despatches per year we could look to complete a quarterly project for all titles produced and bulk ship to customers receiving more than one title, this allowed us to access various different services from International packet post, M Bag and Economy courier. Flostream routed all titles via the most cost effective service and in turn saving the client over £100,000 per annum. This has allowed the client to continue to increase their titles and increase their sales whilst still saving them money.
